About us

We are an owner-managed family business in the third generation with currently five companies in the group. The company’s history began with the trading of radios and trading is still the focal point of our activities today. We sell directly to end customers via the expert store and the online platform ONEdealz, and to partners in the B2B sector via the wholesale trade ENO with the distribution channels trade, system houses, retail and e-commerce.

Wilhelm and Bernd Horstmann have made a very remarkable lifetime achievement with their work in Nordhorn. From the beginnings of a radio business, together they have created a group of companies with a great deal of entrepreneurial courage, which now comprises five companies and employs well over 200 people. Wilhelm Horstmann was there right from the start. After the sudden death of their father, Wilhelm and Bernd Horstmann took over the company. Mother Aleida looked after the family’s properties. Both brothers, trained as master craftsmen in the radio and television trade, Wilhelm also as a master hearing aid acoustician, have never stood still and have always expanded the company in line with the respective market requirements. In addition to their day-to-day business, they have always found time to volunteer in a wide variety of roles in the industry or in the community. Offices in sports clubs, the labor court, telecommunications and retail associations, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Chamber of Crafts and the Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians are just a few examples of the brothers’ extensive activities.

As a passionate sportsman, Bernd Horstmann has been able to celebrate many successes alongside his professional life and family, including becoming world champion in his age group in swimming. For the Horstmann family, people are at the forefront of all developments and decisions. This applies both to employees and to all business partners, whether in retail, with suppliers or with all services that are offered or utilized. Peter Horstmann, the grandson of company founder Bernhard Horstmann, is now the third generation of the Horstmann family to manage the company. Since 01.04.2022, they have been supported by Gernot Teufel as Managing Director for Purchasing, Sales and Marketing. Wilhelm Horstmann passed away on 16.05.2020. His great personal commitment, both in his own companies and in various honorary positions, was and remains a role model for us.
