ENO adds Fidlock to its portfolio

). Joachim Fiedler’s team is bursting with ideas to make everyday moments easier for consumers and bring a smile to their faces. What began with a cello bow holder now includes a broad product portfolio of magnetic-mechanical smartphone and bottle holders as well as smart bag concepts. With immediate effect, ENO will act as a distributor for FIDLOCK in the automotive, consumer electronics and telecommunications sectors.

Opening and closing a fastener – a brief everyday moment that can pose major challenges. Joachim Fiedler, founder and managing director of FIDLOCK GmbH, knows what he is talking about. During his career as an orchestral musician, he was often “annoyed” by the unwieldy handling of his cello bow holder. Only when he clamped the valuable instrument between his knees did he manage with difficulty to fix the bow with his free hand. A more convenient solution was needed. The inventive spirit in him was awakened.

The idea: one click, one turn, open – simple, uncomplicated, ingenious

The solution was the unique combination of mechanical detent and magnetic forces. Joachim Fiedler always had simple handling in mind during development. Recognizing situations in which quick and secure fastening with intuitive operation makes life easier and more enjoyable – that’s what drives the FIDLOCK development team. The Hanover-based company has grown as a component supplier for school bags, bicycle helmets, etc. Today, the medium-sized company holds over 400 patents.

FIDLOCK expands its market presence through cooperation with ENO

Whether smartphone or bottle holders, camera straps or smart hip and bike bags – the premium magnetic accessories from FIDLOCK are sold in around 40 countries worldwide by over 60 distributors. With immediate effect, ENO will act as a distributor for selected FIDLOCK products in the automotive, consumer electronics and telecommunications sectors in Germany and neighboring markets. The Nordhorn-based distributor has a broad customer base consisting of retailers, e-commerce, mail order and 4,000 specialist retailers – and the company also serves niche markets. “We are delighted to strengthen our market presence and open up new sales channels through our cooperation with ENO,” emphasizes Stefan Thode, Global Key Account Manager at FIDLOCK GmbH.

Sven Biber, Product Manager Accessories & Wearables at ENO, was already familiar with the FIDLOCK water bottle holders from the private sector. It has served him well on many bike tours and ensured a secure grip even on bumpy roads. He and his colleagues are delighted to be able to offer the practical Premium Magnetic Accessories from FIDLOCK to their sales partners with immediate effect. “FIDLOCK is an excellent addition to the product portfolio of our existing distribution brands. This innovative accessory offers our retail partners new sales and margin opportunities,” Sven Biber is convinced.
